Smiles again

life's been fun this week. haha.. all thanks to my jc friends. as it was a long weekend, we hit K box on fri and sentosa on sat. not that i am trying to get any more tanned but i miss volleyball! haha. sometimes we think our friends are boring and they dont necessarily share common interest or anything with us. but when it all boils down, it is that we are able to chat freely and enjoy the presence of each other.
i guess all of us always think that we want friends from the "IN" crowd. we want friends who are tall, good looking, clubbers and rich! i believe that everyone is guilty of that. i am. i used to think that all my friends weren't fun and interesting. however, my perspective changed. i realised that my friends are those who made "lubricated" my life. haha.... life's been happier and all with them around. i am not afraid to be myself.
i am really fortunate to have friends who scream at me to sing into the mike at K box when i obviously am musically challenged. haha.. they even bear with my horrific singing. i was so embarrassed but they seriously didnt seem to give a shit.
life in army has also been good with friends around. being a slob like me, i didnt bring in thirsty hippo or some water abosorbant thing into camp and guess what! my bunk mates gave me one. haha.. and even a glade air freshner thing.
i guess in life, friends are the most important. ultimately, some may say that family is what we fall back on when we are in the ditches. but can we share stuff and be sure that it wont spread within the family? i know i cant! haha.. cos my obnoxious sis is reading this blog. so is my nosy aunt. haha...
